Mend Sony 46 inch flat screen Picture Across Screen

distorted picture that waves across the screen?

When I turn on my sony 46 inch flat screen, it has dark areas across the screen that goes from left to right, then when i finally "warms up"?. the picture seems fine except for a small area in the right lower corner of the screen that keep getting distortion. Dose anyone out there know about a similar problem?
