How do you clean a washing machine?

Most F&P washing machines are top loaders so don't have rubber door seals. You could try using some descaler such as you would use in a dishwasher. Buy a packet from an appliance shop or hardware store. Fill machine to highest level with warm/hot water & the descaler (No clothes) agitate for 5 minutes then pause & let soak for half an hour then resume and let machine complete the full cycle. May help but to completely clean it out the inner bowl should be removed & both bowls hand scrubbed. That would definitely do it.

clean gunk out of the rubber door gasket.Do some maintenance boil washes and hope it clears gunk problem
