My Fisher and Paykel Excellence 7.5 Smart Drive won't fill with water?

Thank you Lincoln Appliance - I have had it fixed now and it was a faulty cold water inlet valve. I am now happily washing away again and I appreciate your input

With out being there to test it makes it near impossible to give a reason. I presume you have checked the obvious and made sure tap is fully open and hose from cold tap is on the cold inlet and hot connected to hot inlet. Apart from that, it could be a faulty inlet valve or faulty control module. Does it not fill on either hot or cold? When you say it agitates you mean the bowl rotates for filling. Agitates is what happens after the water has filled & the agitator goes forward & backward to wash the clothes.
