tecumseh engine wont run unless choke is closed?

hi my engine wont run unless the choke is closed and when under load it fades and stops bill

Most Tecumseh engines have a fairly simple bowl carb, remove the the securing screw in the base of the bowl, the jet is now screwed up the centre of the carb, you will need a good stubby flat blade screw driver to remove it if you do not completly remove the carb, do no damage the jet with a poor screw driver, it is brass and the edges will break away.
