Mend Honda Mower Engine Choke

honda mower engine wont run?

seems to start fine, but the moment i move choke control to rabbit position engine stops. If i hold choke lever in position manualy, and than move rev control lever to rabbit or tortoise position engine will idle or increase revs fine , antill i release choke lever, and again it will stop.
