Mend Brother 3000 Slow Help Started

Brother Super Galaxie runnnig slow & labouring?

Can anyone please help.
My Brother Super Galaxie 3000 has started running slow and is performing and sounding very laboured.
I'm wondering if the motor is on its way out...... or does anyone else have the same problem.
Has been working fine, but this has suddenly come on.
Can anyone help... please?

check the bearings on the lower drive shaft at the bottom of machine if they are dry it will stiff to turn.
