Bosch WTA 3000 Dryer not producing any heat ?

Have 7 or 8 year old Bosch WTA 3000 dryer which is not producing any heat although motor sounds ok and drum rotates. Have had back off machine (and top) but can't see any sort of reset button. There is another panel and I can feel something like a grille at the bottom but I can't gain access into it. Does this sound like a heating element replacement job and if so, is it easy for a non-professional to replace or do I have to call an engineer - and if so is it worth it in view of age of machine? Reviving this thread in 2015 to help others. I've just fixed a Bosch WTA3002GB which is very similar externally so I guess internally too. Once you have the back off, there's no reset button on the heating element but where the wires attach to the element are 2 little ceramic boxes, about 1cm cubes with a copper strap around, and these are the thermistors that need replacing. They are a Whirlpool part if you struggle to find them. I found them online here in the UK after a long search - they fit a bunch of different tumble dryers. Cost me about 15GBP in 2015.

You need to do some tests to be sure.
It's a heating element which is powered by 230V in Europe. Unplug the power when checking connections.
It can be the thermostats but also very likely the connectors on these thermostats are corroded or even burned due to the high current and a metal on metal connection under stress.
In this case you can solder the wires for a new fresh connection or replace the thermostats + connectors.
I'm sure Sam has done the washing by now just hope it was a fair repair.
