Mend Tumble Dryer Running

Tumble Dryer Drum Loud and Noisy?

My tumble dryer is running fine, except it started making a loud banging sound as the drum turns.

It sounds as though there is a pair of trainers/shoes are tumbling in it. It makes this sound whether empty or loaded.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
