why isnt my wireless working?

my fijitsu wireless isnt working ,the light is on but when i take out the yellow plug to the bt home hub i loose internet,bt say must be prob with laptop but it worked fine before ,please help me with this kind regards

Go to network connections - right click on Wireless Icon (if you don't see one there is no Wireless Driver) and select View Available Networks - One of them should be your own Wireless Router - connect to it.
