Hi - came back from a week's holiday to find no red light on my Thomson box. We knew there'd been a power cut while we were away and had thought that possibly when the electric went off a fuse had blown. Both the fuse inside the box and in the plug have been checked and are working but the box still does not work - no lights come on when it is plugged in and it won't switch on. My dad has cleaned it out and he said there was an unbelieveable amount of dust inside. He also said he couldn't see anything that had possibly burnt out. So it is fixable or is it for the scrap heap. Thank you in advance for your help.
Power supply probably faulty. Look on Ebay for a replacement/repaired psu. Check the HDD on a computer to make sure it ok. Ignore windows requests to format it etc. You will delete any recordings.
