Mend Electrolux Caravan Fridge

electrolux 3 way caravan, electric working but fridge is not cold?

Hi our caravan fridge is normally powered by electric which is all working fine. Only problem is that the fridge is not cold. What should we do? thanks

You did not state the age of your fridge but if it is 10 or more years old it will probably need a replacement cooling unit. If it won't get cold when using the AC power then it won't work any better on LP gas. Listen for a "gurgling" sound when the fridge is running. If you hear that, you need a new cooling unit. A new fridge can cost upwards of $1200.00 but a new cooling unit is about $480.00. Contact "RV ICE BOX .COM in Tenn.
