speedfight ?

if its an early speedfight pre-2001 it may have been bypassed, i can do this, or even tell you how to (nominal fee) (priveledged information) easy way to tell is that it should have the 2 box setup on it, cdi by the battery 2 multi connectors with 4 wires and immobilizer unit behind ignition panel, anyway, there is no way that bike would run without the chip in the key if it had an immobilizer, no way unless it has been bypassed. i have a non immobilizer unit for sale brand new, so if you need it get in touch, couple of people on here are after it, and better still its 100 all in inc p+p

lol no mate im in milton keynes sorry or i would have a look for you.the chip in the key sends a signal through an ariel on the switch to the cdi/immobiliser and thaen allows it to spark a non coded immobiliser will only let the engine rev to about 2000 rpm and if it doesnt spark at all then its going to be the immobiliser i expect as its such a common problem,you cna buy a non chipped cdi unit that just plugs into the place where the original one is and this will sort it out.i work in a bike shop and they cost us about £110.00 so you will pay about £130 i reckon ask m on here he works at a dealers so may know an exact price.it should have a chip though really if it was sparking without it then thata a bit weird unless its a very early one as they were not chipped ignition.how old is it?

adam bike doctor i dont have the key with the chip in i neva have scince i brought the bike i did know the imobiliser didnt work but the bike was fine will it be expensive to get it done or is there any other cheaper way to get it fixed without having the imobiliser done as when i let someone have a look at it i did have a spark from the spark plug but scince it has come back there isnt a spark do you think that they could of missed putting a wire back on oe something i wished you lived by me i would pay you to get it fixed for me lol do you live anywhere by the west midlands by any chance thanks again adam.

its probably the cdi/immobiliser mate try electrex workd they sell them.they have a web site i have also had the primary coils the generator go wrong and the wiring in the front of the loom where it runs up the frame come apart with corrosion and also a circuit board or two get a rotten track on the clocks this can also cause a loss of spark but its usually the unit mate.i take it you do have the chipped key for it still and the chip is i it?
