Mend Karcher K4.99 Power Whilst Turned

what is wrong wih my Karcher K4.99 ?

My pressure washer has lost power whilst being used and when its turned on but not being used its meant to be silent but the motor comes on for a couple of seconds then goes of for a couple of seconds and carries on like this.
