My jeeps signal lights go on only when i hit the brakes?

My signal lights do not work. they only go on when i hit the brakes. where should i check for bad connection?

Hi sounds like a bad earth conection on one of the rear light clusters. wrap a wire around a stop light bulb when fitted and touch it against earth .good luck.
