I cut through the cable on my Qualcast Hedgemaster 380. I replaced the cable with a new one and now the machine wont operate at all. I used my multi meter to check the fuse, thats ok, and I also checked (with the multi meter) between the plug prongs and the screw heads that hold the new wires in place inside the handle. Its all got a good connection. However it still won't work! is there some kind of internal fuse inside the trimmer? Can anybody offer any advice please?
I stripped the whole unit open and one spade connector to the motor had fallen off. This must have happend at the exact moment I cut through the wire!! Whats the chance?? anyway popped that back on and just been out to cut my hedge. Looks great now!
