Mend Kenmore 625.388250 Water Tank Hose

kenmore water softner 625.388250?

The tank is full of water and is spilling out thru
the the over flow hose. I closed the water in-take valve and pulled the elctric plug, but it still filling
with water. The owner's manual does not have any
information as to how to fix this problem.
