Air locked system?

Turning the taps on did not work. Unblocked the hot by connecting the washing machine cold feed to the hot. Still unable to unblock the cold system?

turn on a upstairs tap and listen ,allow tap to run for up to 5 min's should hear a gurgle/hiss is the air coming out, when water comes turn the tap off and repeat the same for another tap. repeat for the hot taps this may take a lot longer if hot storage tank was emptied.
