Re-coding my key fob?

I just bought a new key-fob and reset it, which has set the immobilizer but the remote central locking is not working, can somebody advise, when i set the immobilizer i pressed the internal button and held it in until the red light flashing changed clicked the button on the remote and it was set, but it will not operate the central locking now?
