Mend Vauxhall Vectra GLS Remote Central Locking

re-setting my key fob?

my remote for my vacxhall vectra gls has broken have been sold a new one but have been told that it will cost me £90 to get it re-set!!! My central locking still doesn't work with key key fob and my alarm is going off as soon as the car is unlocked and the door is opened, have got my car pass any ideas please.

Hi Aleca, I'm sorry to say yes any new key fob can only be reprogramed with a diagnostic computer setup, you might find a good autoelectrician will have the kit and will be cheaper than the dealership
