GWL10US Default Code 104?

Our Fisher & Paykel would make a noise when filling but would continue through cycle. Then eventually it would stop during a cycle, had to unplug washer and plug back in then it would continue through cycle. It did this for awhile until a default code 104 is displayed (-**-* ---)

106. (01101010) Display to Motor Controller Module Communications Errors
These faults are reported when the Display Module detects an error in the communications between
the Display Module and the Motor Controller Module.
Primary Source - Pump.
Action:
Measure resistance of pump. If resistance is less than 33 ohms, replace pump.
Secondary Source: Display module.
Action:
Replace Display module
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller Module.
Action
Replace Motor Controller Module. If the new Motor Controller Module corrects the fault, refit the
original Display Module.
Quaternary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action: Replace Rotor Position Sensor. If this corrects the fault, and if a Display Module or Motor
Control Module has been fitted, refit the original Display Module or Motor Control Module.
