machine wont drain or spin?

i have a gentle annie and it washes OK ie agitator moves normally, but when it gets to the drain and spin the motor just hums

Hi,
All I can suggest is that you check the filter.
Most machines have carbon brushes on the motor. When the carbon brushes get low the machine will work but not go into spin.

Check these easy to replace.

Thats all I can really suggest.
