how to fix a shower pull switch that has light on?

chances are you have connected it up wrong,
make sure the incoming live and neutral go in the incoming live and neutral terminals on the p/sw, and the out going live and neutral go into the outgoing live and neutral terminals.
when the p/sw is turned off the little neon will not be on. when you turn the switch on the neon will turn on and your shower should have power to it and hot water will follow.

Shower has been working fine up to this point. one thing i have noticed is the little light is dimmer then before. and as i said once you push button to turn shower on, the pull switch light goes out. water still comes through shower ok just not heated

wire it up properly,
the supply and the load connections are the wrong way round the NEON should not be coming on till power is at the shower after all it is a indicator to tell the appliance is now LIVE
