Mend Shower Ceiling Switch

Shower ceiling switch stuck on?

The ceiling pull switch for my shower has jammed in the 'on' position. LED light stays on and shower unit's power light is also on. Shower works ok.
Will it be ok to leave the ceiling switch in the 'on' position permanently?
Presumably the indicator lights use minimal electricity.

It's ok to leave it on but a sticking switch could indicate that the switch is warped from overheating.it's best to get it checked, or at least check it's not getting hot when the shower has been used
