Mend Belle Wont Turn Off

belle mixer won't turn off?

i got this belle mixer at an auction cheap, it works fine and the switch is ok but it won't switch off, it looks like someone has by- passed the capacitor? but not sure

I just guess - it looks like these things have a No-Volt-Release Switch meaning that if the power fails when it's running it will not automatically start up again when the power comes back - the operator needs to press the go button.

My guess is that the NVR switch has been incorrectly wired - I doubt very much that the start run capacitor is causing the problem.

I have no experience with these things. I just guess...
