Mend Vaillant Turbomax 242e Changed Diverter Valve

how can i fix my boiler?

i have a vaillant turbomax 242e changed diverter valve but still not getting hot water .gasman told me dhw heat exchanger probably blocked problem i have is i dont seem to be able to isolate boiler .I have stoptap on cold feed in to boiler but when i turn it off i still get water out of the hot tap

Vaillant Vaillant Turbomax 242e Heating, Home Heating Systems Vaillant Changed Diverter Valve

just turn of the main stop tap in the house this will turn of the water to the boiler. u will also need to drain the heating water out the boiler to. and also there is water in the pipes to so when u turn of the water expect water to drain out the taps for a minute or so.
