Dishwasher lights up but doesn't start cycle?

We can switch on the dishwasher and all lights up. (Bosch Logixx) You hear the programming quietly whirling away then after this brief delay the water should start to enter into the dishwasher. This is not happening. Checked the hoses to see if blocked - all ok and pressure ok. So is it the water pump??
