Belt has come off my cross trainer- help?

I have a carl Lewis cross trainer and need to put new belt on. I can't seem to get it on 😞 not sure if there is some special technique or what lol

I have a york espire cross trainer, 18 months old and not used much, the belt has come trapped and broken in two, bought another belt and the same thing has happened, they want £90.00 fee just to look at it,the belt was only £10.00 dont know what to do with it, too new to scrap it

Any body know how I get new bearing for my cross trainer had all come apart causing belt to keep coming off.

If you don't have Ebay account; the company is "Simply Bearings Ltd ~ Halton House, Greenfold Way, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 3XJ " ( same people on Ebay ) ordered mine before 2pm; received following day. ( That's service ) I messed up first time and ordered a 5 RIB belt; I got the information from a fitness site offering a compatible belt for the machine; but at a dearer price. I have the same problem. The drive belt seems slack but I have no idea if that's the problem. I can't find any measurements in the manual for the drive belt to figure out if it has become stretched etc.

The bearing also seems to be in odd place. As I said the belt is slack but if I pull the belt to tighten it it still doesn't touch the bearing wheel. It seems very high up in relation to where the belt is running along.

It's all very frustrating!

I have managed to fix it,!! Over time the belt works its way across and comes off, but to get it back on you have to loosen off all the bolts at the smaller wheel at the front, and then un hook the big spring below ,! Then you will be able to slide the smaller silver wheel up, so the belt can loop round that aswell, so it will come off the big wheel under the silver one then round the front one,!! But u need to pull the spring back and hook it on whitch isn't easy, because that's we're you get the tention in the belt, I used a big screwdriver through the hook and pulled it back to get the hook back in, good luck,!!!

As soon as I get on to the crosstrainer, after 5-6 turns, the belt comes straight off. I have put it back on numerous times but the same thing keeps happening. Very annoying.
If someone has a solluton, please let us know.

We have the same problem - the belt keeps coming off - the company took it back once but as purchased on ebay will not take again. My husband has taken in to pieces - we have got the tension but he wondered if the tension pully lip should be on the inside or outside - this may stop the belt coming off - any ideas would be appreciated. Currently on the inside - looks the wrong way round. We may try it - if it works then we will post again on here. Good luck : )

i have the same problem belt keeps coming off i think its the wrong size belt it just seams slack all the time if the company has an answer please let us know.
