Candy aqua 1200 not spinning how do I fix it?

Firstly I would ask you if you can hear the motor spinning / running when you expect the spin cycle to be engaged ?

If you can hear the motor going ie. trying to spin the drum but the drum is still stationary, then I would say the belt has come off or could be broken.

If the motor is not spinning you could have a situation where the motor has stopped working , this could be 1 of 2 things.
1. the motor is worn out and gone to the washing machine motor heaven :)
2. the contacts are worn out in the motor - that is the little electrical contacts that pass the electricity through the motor .
They do wear out, it is normal wear and tear, and can be replaced without too much trouble.
They might have been worn and the final blow was the heavy load !

As to the repair - generally the belt and motor are accessable through the bottom of the machine .
