Hello I have a Hotpoint wf 740 spin 1400?

the most common fault that causes the belt to come off is drum bearing failure, to check the bearings bring any one of the drum paddles up to 12 o clock position and glently press on it upwards with your thumb at the door end if you feel movement its a sign of the bearings are on their way out, other than that check the belt for damage
