how to fix engine management light?

a week ago my car broke down and i took it to a garage and had my air float meter changed, after that i ran for about 20 miles and the engine management light came on... got it to service, they took it off.. and ran for another 50 miles or so, the engine electronics light came on, and in the same trip the light change from the engine electronics light to the engine management light... these all happen in one week... can anyone help please?

the code was P0170, probable cause is intake leak, air system, fuel pressure/pump, injector(s), EVAP canister purge valve, HO2S
so what are these problems really? the service guy said nothing wrong though...
and does any of these will cause sudden breakdown? coz i m trying to book a vauxhall garage, but none of them r available until 2 weeks later... = =''

if they have cancelled the light, they should have been able to read the fault codes & tell you why it came on!
