Vauxhall Zafira 2.0Dti Electronics Warning light?

Hi I have a problem with my Zafira 2.0 DTI 2005 Engine Electronics warning light comes on (small spanner symbol) when first starting the car the light comes on, goes out after a minute or two, I would say that it is probably the EGR valve,I have try to remove this disconnecting the pipes and the two torx bolts holding it on.but still doesn't moves.Even gave it a little tap with a hammer still doesn't move can any one help thanks.

clean egr valve and flaps etc....check vacuum pipes for damage

all wrong it is the bl.......egr and the baromic pressure sensor work to gether fuc..... vauxhall for you

zafira 2Ldti year 2004 the spanner light is coming on and loss of power no turbo

If the EGR valve was going, then when you drive, the engine will go into 'limp' mode. If the car does not do this it is unlikely to be the egr valve. If the spanner symbol is coming on but with no other symptoms, then the car needs a service! Read your manual or ask the dealer over the phone?
