I WOULD TRY THE THERMAL LINK . PLUMB CNTR DO A UNIVERSAL ONE FOR 9 POUNDS . MINE DID THAT BUT GOT WORSE , NOW FIXED IM HAPPY AS LARRY .IT IS THE THIN COPPER PIPE THAT GOES INTO THE FLAME AT ONE END AND THE OTHER TO THE VALVE
