Mend Craftsman 917-388600 Lawn Mower Problem

How can i fix my lawn mower?

I have a craftsman model 917-388600 that will start after i prime it but will not continue to run. Is this a carburation problem? i have just replaced the spark pug, and changed oil. it is also fresh gasoline.

I would get a rebuild kit for the carb or try taking the float bowl off and check to see if the float is stuck or any thing keeping the needle closed.
