Mend Triton Opal Shower Pressure Cold

Triton Opal shower - water pouring from pressure release valve?

When we use our Triton Opal electric shower, cold water pours from the pressure release valve at the bottom. The shower itself still works, but obviously with far less water - and you're standing in a puddle of cold water.

Is this something that's easily fixable, or do I need a new one?
