hi
poss problem is an open circuit solonoid valve coil ie the bit that opens the water valve inside the shower; you need to test the continuity of the coil if open circuit you need a replacement solonoid coil but this will come with a complete solonoid valve but you can pull the coil off the base and just fit the coil much easier than changing the complete solonoid valve
your other shower had blown the prd ( pressure relief device) probably due to the shower head being blocked up therefore causing a high pressure inside the heater canister and blowing the prd would have been simple cheap repair. hope this resolves your problem
