how can i get my car sarted?

hi please help , my mum just bought W reg fiat brava she has no manual , she just went to start her car and nothing has happened just a symbol of a key comes up on the dash, what should she do to get it started?

Fiat Fiat Brava Vehicles, Cars Help Bought Manual Start

Try the spare key. It may be the transponder in the key has failed and is not communicating with the immobiliser. Otherwise, it's a call to a FIAT dealership and an expensive repair, make sure you have the master key which I think is red.
