Mend Thomson DTI 500 Reset Factory Settings

resetting thomson digibox?

I have an old thomson digibox (DTI 500). Anyone know how to do a reset to original factory settings? This is not an available option using the on screen menu. (channels are all over the place after an attempted auto re-tune, and a complete reset has worked on my other digiboxes)
