humming noise on indesit?

indesit 1234T when i turn it on it just makes a humming sound and will not start i have put a replacement programmer in. and a new door lock

TRY MANUALLY TURNING THE DRUM AS IT MAY BE JAMMED IF FREE IT COULD WELL BE THE LITTLE BRUSHES NEEDING CHANGING ON THE MOTOR ALSO THE VALVES TO ALLOW WATER INTO THE MACHINE COULD BE FAULTY THEN THE MACHINE THINKS POSSIBLY RIGHTLY THAT THERE IS NO WATER IN IT TO WASH WITH GOOD LUCK
