How can I fix my hotpoint aquarius WF541?

i switch the machine on then set the timer to number 6
then press start programe. The door locks but the red led door lock light does not come on. then the machine makes a clicking noise, then the red led wash light comes on but nothing else happens, ive put a new door switch on thinking that was the problem but its still the same can any1 help plzz
