Mend Zanussi ZWD8120 Start Pressed

starting?

when start button pressed on Zanussi washer a clunking noise like a solinoid clicks and does not always start, keep pressing reset and it starts, is it the door closing soinoid that i can hear clunking, or another problem, everything else is fine
