HOW TO FIX A JOHN DEERE 6810 TRACTOR?

I HAVE A JOHN DEERE 2001 6810 TRACTOR, I WENT TO START IT AND IT TURNED OVER AND LIGHTS WENT OUT IN DASH. I FOUND OUT FUSE WENT PUT NEW FUSE IN TURNED ON IGNITION LIGHTS UP DASH WENT TO START AND BLOWS FUSES. I THEN REPLACED FUSE TURNED TO LIGHT UP DASH RUN FLY LEAD TO STARTER AND STARTED TRACTOR. WHILE TRYING TO START TRACTOR I NOW CANT SEEM TO GET GEARS WHEN TRACTOR IS STARTED HOPE U CAN HELP ME WITH THIS THANKS

hello, did yoy find the problem i have the same problem when turning key in start position fuse 1 blow out.

That'll be the top fuse in load center 1 ?? should be 30A as I recall, I've seen the engine stop solenoid wire short to ground near the pump, also check the wires to the tank pump on top of the fuel tank accessed via the hole under the carpet. Does the fuse blow at the ignition stage of the key or when turned to start position??

Hi w,
The forward and reverse switch up beside the steering wheel wont work.
The first fuse closest to steering is the one that blows the ignition switch fuse

Which fuse blows? You say you can't get gears??? now do you mean you can't get the ranges A, B, C, D, E, or you can't get the speeds of the powrquad to work & I presume it's powrquad plus (electrically shifted)?
