Creda chrome looking Shower Model 53558205?

Same problem as Rich - no water flowing but red light comes on for cold setting when pressed
and goes off when off button is pressed but no sound
or water.No light thought when either hot setting button is pressed?
Think Rich might have read the model no.wrong.
credas 5's do look like 6's.

my creda electric shower only runs boiling hot on all settings canot regulate it its same on all settings ,its only 11 months old,i no it could be thermostat but surley only 11 months old it should not go its never been used for shower as we cant get in it ,to hot,any help please

got a creda chrome shower on the front you have 4 buttons down the middle and a hot and cold dial underneath
the problem is that when we turn the dial to the to the left for hot water the pressure slows down but if we turn the dial to the right the pressure pick up but the water is cold any suggestion

I've got the same fault as above on my creda aqua chrome shower model no. 53-558205
I've had my shower since dec 2004, noticed a few weeks ago when I switched it off after around 10 seconds I would get a bubbling/boiling sound then hot steam coming out of the shower head, not good, thought the cutout sensor or pressure switch was failing but could not test
Found an exact replacement from Tesco Direct, £125 so if the PCB is faulty then replacing the shower is probably best value for money

Since my posting, I've been told the small PCB at the top of the unit has failed and we got a quote of nearly £100 to replace !!! Bought a new shower.
