my jaguar boiler has gone out, and although it it switching on and trying to fire there is no flame and no "whoosh" :)
have tried everything!!
any help much appreciated because im quite smelly now!!
First of all the washing machine has its own inbuilt heater so the hot water in that can be discounted, it will create its own.
Does the boiler show a f1 or similar fault? check the bar pressure as the boiler will not fire below 0.5 bar if its below refill from the link pipe.

i've put the washing machine on to boilwash some sheets and its definitely hot hot hot in the washing machine!!
yet still no flame in the boiler!?

may be the fan sticking or the aps not working. but if it sparks ok the gas valve may need replacing or the pcb

doesnt look like it.
its always been difficult to see as it has a tiny view-hole on the front.
however,
it came on last night briefly after doing the same non-working all day yesterday, only stayed on about 10 mins tho and hasn't come on since
