infocus 7200 POWER UP PROBLEMS GOASTING?

WHEN I POWER UP MY INFOCUS 7200 PROJECTOR TURNS ON BUT NO PICTURE APPEARS .I HAVE TO PULL OUT POWER PLUG FROM REAR AND RE INSERT ,THEN PICTURE COMES ONTO SCREEN IN60 SECONDS OR SO.ALSO WHEN I TURN ON FIRST TIME IF IT DOES SHOW A PICTURE (rare) THERE SEEMS TO BE A NEGATIVE FLICKERNG LOOK TO THE PICTURE.DO I NEED NEW POWERBOARD OR WHAT.

Strike the above, i was answering the wrong question!
Powering-up and shutting down, or lamp shutting off, is usually brought on by a problem with air intake. Clean all external vents/filters and open up the projector an dust internally if your can.

Hi Chuck,
Some infocus models were fitted with a weak internal fuse. You can replace it yourself for pennys. If your good with disassembly, its worth a shot.
