Eurosec CP8L House Alarm problems?

We don't set out alarm but it's taken to sounding of regularly and displays "lounge" in the keypad. How do we stop the alarm from activating.

I have a Eurosec cp8l alarm and I have ordered a new battery for the control panel. The new battery is 67mm high and 67mm wide. Can you tell me if this will fit in the box okay as the original battery is 56mm high and wide. Thanks

Hi, we seem to have lost our key fob to turn the alarm off in the morning, so we have been manually keying in the alarm code which for a couple of second sets the alarm off as we are not quick enough. is there anyway we can delay the entry timer to round 60 seconds ?

I had a power failure my alarm now says mains power failure my alarm now says mains fit I can't reset it can anyone offer any help

I have an Eurosec CP8L LCD house alarm I have changed the battery as the old battery was flat I have replaced with the same Amp and Voltage I have turned the mains off from the fuse box I have reconnected the battery however the keypad is not working can you please advise

hi- it's now winter again, and i too have the same problem.
During the night when it gets below about -5 the alarm box on the outside of the house beeps every 1-2 minutes. To be honest, it beeps more the colder it gets.
When the sun finally gets on it and warms it up it stops(?).

Did you get yours sorted in January? I have rung the company that fitted mine to come and have a look at it, or if they know anything about any problems they might have with that model.

Hope to get it sorted soon as i do not wish to be awake from 4.45, and lord know what the neighbours are saying!

Mains Flt = Mains Fault. As previously stated check the fused spur for a loose connection and check the fuse holder is gripping the fuse tightly. Make sure the fuse is good. I have known the fuse holder leg in the panel to have a dry solder joint which would cause the mains to intermittently drop off causing the problem.

My LCD shows the words "Low Batt" meaning the battery is nor perhapsa recharging. The system is only 2 years old. Do I need a new battery or has the fuse gone & the battery is not charging. When code is now entered and full protection entered , the LCD goes on ringing instead of cutting off at the usual interval.

this is a mains fault you need to check all the fuses are fine mains fault is a basic fail error
