Mend Bosch BDW13 Dishwasher Not Filling Up

How do I fix BDW13 dishwasher which is not filling up with water?

We get an Error code 3 which states malfunction of temperature sensor or of heating element however there doesnt seem to be any water getting in. We have pulled the dishwasher out and checked the hose is connected, but when the dishwasher is on, there is no water getting to it. What can this be?
