Mend Hygena APL8224/3 Dishwasher Water

Dishwasher not filling?

I have a hygena apl8224/3 wich is 12 years old when put on to normal wash will not fill i have tried a new switch/programmer but just the same,it will work if you help switch by turning but does not fill with water element heats up and if manual fill will drain any help apreciated

one more thing,check the tap that the fill hose connected to,if it has one of those blue levers that you turn,they can break and you think its on,but its off

why did you not check the water valve before replacing the timer?if its not the valve,then you have a fault in the pressure switch/system
