Mend Optima Compact 8 zone Zone Power

How do I up a Optima Compact alarm ?

I have just replaced my old Optima Compact 6 zone alarm panel with a Compact 8 zone. Should I wire the alarm fully before applying power from the battery to programme or should I not wire the alarm until I am in engineer mode ?

why as my zones stopped working. its a optima alarm. I only moved one of the zones 2 foot and wrote the wire codes down.

wire everything in to the zones and bell, finish all mains wiring (being careful) apply battery or mains power it dont matter and then go to engineers mode and programme the system and do a full test of the zones and bell
