Mend Creda 63668206 Help Select Hot

Creda chrome looking Shower Model63668206?

CAn anyone help, When I switch on the shower and press any of the 4 buttons to to select hot or cold water the shower does nothing. The red light lights for a while but no water. We don't hear the initial sounds it used to make either when you first switc the electric on it. Is this a simple sticking valve fault ?

New PCB was about £40 if you fit it yourself,which is fairly easy, but no guarantee that will fix it.
so we bought a new one as well.
