Mend Hotpoint WD440 Stopped Working Motor

How can I fix my WD440?

My Hotpoint WD440 has stopped working. LEDs come on but no water and no motor. I'm no expert but as the door lock light comes on faintly could it be the door lock mechanism?

Hotpoint Hotpoint WD440 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Stopped Working Motor

Does the door lock? If your door lock malfunctions then nothing works. Be aware that these little devils can damage the PCB when they blow. Try a new door switch, they are not expensive.
